  i just heard a story on npr about blood marrow donations among the black community, why it's so low and why it's desperately needed.

  here's a few points that i thought were interesting about this issue:.

  Thanks. I've never heard that. "Iinherent distrust of the medical community".

  I'll re-read the post in depth. Sounds a little paranoiac.

  after every world cup since 1994, i have told myself that i need to really follow football.

  this game is truly a treat to the eye, yesterday's game had some great moments, though overall it has an ugly match and that was the fault of the dutch.

  the problem that i have encountered in following football is not being able to get good information on the game at the club and international level.

  Really? Seriously?

  Definitions suck, but we all use them. Find the ones that work for you. On the other hand, choices are fun

  Personally, my favorite is "au naturel, landing strip or ooh la la".

  Stick around. The coloreds negros blacks afro-americans redefine themselves every once in a while. Read the papers and/or watch TV. Don't get caught being politically incorrect
